Event Description
Distance counseling has to become more of an option for providing services. Counselors providing distance counseling will need the proper supervision as well. This presentation will provide the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively counsel and supervise counseling at a distance. Instruction includes a survey of the history of counseling; types of distance counseling environments, supervision strategies/methods and best practices of counseling and supervising at a distance.​
