Program Description: 

This training on embracing authenticity in the path to recovery equips participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to support clients in their journey toward genuine self-discovery and sustained sobriety. Participants will gain a deep understanding of the role authenticity plays in the recovery process and learn effective therapeutic techniques to help clients explore and embrace their authentic selves. Through this training, participants will be equipped to foster a safe and empowering environment where clients can navigate their recovery with authenticity, self-acceptance, and personal growth.

Learning Objectives: 

The workshop is designed to help participants:

1. Participants will learn the meaning of authenticity in the context of addiction recovery and how it relates to personal growth and self-discovery.

2. Participants will explore how authenticity can contribute to sustained recovery by promoting self-awareness, emotional well-being, and building genuine connections with others.

3. Participants will explore the impact of societal and cultural norms on clients' authenticity in recovery, guiding them in navigating external pressures and expectations while staying true to themselves.
